Former Bears quarterback Rick Mirer averaged only 60 passing yards per game in the 1997 season.
No wonder why Mirer played with seven different teams (Seahawks, Bears, Packers, Jets, 49ers, Raiders and Lions) in 12 seasons (1993-2004).
The Bears gave up a No. 1 pick to acquire Mirer in 1997 and that was the only season he ever played in Chicago.
