In Mel Kiper’s latest mock draft on ESPN, he predicts that the Bears will select Georgia wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi in the second round (49th overall), Clemson safety Chris Clemons in the third round (99th) and San Jose State cornerback Christopher Owens in the fourth round (119th).

I really like the new look Bearsbacker.com, Mel Kiper is so wrong about Massaquoi.
The Bears need to trade up in the 2nd round so they can get either Britt or Robiskie. Cutler would be happy

I agree as much as i love Dez Clark and all the things he has done I believe we could get a 2 or 3 round pick for him and we could trade up for Robiskie. The Falcons need a tight end.

Greg thanks for the comment.
I don’t know if we could actually get a 2nd or 3rd round pick for the aging Dez Clark. I think the Falcons will trade there 2nd rounder for future hall of famer Tony Gonzalez.
I read today that WR Hakeem Nicks’ stock is dropping, I would love to pick him up or your guy Robiskie.

I did not hear Nicks stock was dropping… he would be a steal at #49! In reality, I think Robiskie could be there, but I am pretty sure Britt will not be. Although, with the Giants signing Edwards, that takes one more team, ahead of the Bears needing a receiver, out of the mix. I think if Robiskie isn’t there, then draft an immediate impact Safety like Delmas, Moore or Chung and sign WR Torry Holt. You can always come back with the #140 pick and draft Mike Wallace (Ole Miss) or Austin Collie (BYU). I would save the #99 for DT Francois (LSU) or CB Francies (San Jose St.) and #119 for DE Williams (Tx Tech) or CB Martin (Troy). And watch for a steal at the #190 pick… CB Webb (Nichols St.) That’s my two cents.

Thanks for the comment Jimmy your completely right about Robiskie, he could drop since the Giants will probably get Braylon Edwards. And yea Hakeem Nicks is predicted to be picked 59th by the Dolphins in Sporting News Magazine. I don’t think he’ll fall that far, but I would love for the Bears to get him and the safetys Delmas, Moore and Chung hopefully one of them falls. Torry Holt will probably not be coming to Chicago, his already said its not a possibilty and Holt wants big money and he also doesn’t want to play in the freezing weather that Chicago brings. As far as the rest of the draft after the 3rd round, I don’t know much about those players you listed. I guess I’m going to have to do some research.
Thanks again Jimmy
