gale_sayers_wrigley_thumb Bears great Gale Sayers compiled 36 points on six touchdowns in a 61-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 12, 1965 at Wrigley Field.

Sayers scored on runs of 21-, 7-, 50- and 1-yards, an 80-yard screen pass and an 85-yard punt return.
