Agreed, I think the only reason that we have the stupid roughing the passer penalty is because the NFL doesnt want to loose its big starts. Look at the Brady situation. All you ever saw in the tabloids was Brady Brady Brady, him and Gisele were all over everything. Then he gets hurt and pretty much falls of the face of the earth once Cassell steped in. The QB is the main attraction when it comes to football games and teams dont want to loose that. I understand the roughin the kicker penalties but hey they could really get hurt! Also most of them are little girls to begin with anyway. Football is a contact sport. I hope harrison gets his point across!! I admire players like him. People who play the game to pop someone and walk away as they lay dizzy on the ground. That what is was about when you were young. Players now are to concerned about their contracts and fame. Let them play!! You will notice the only ones who complain about these stupid rules are the ones who do the hitting not the ones getting hit!

I agree the NFL has gotten soft. I remember last season they called a roughing the passer on a Bears defensive lineman I think Adewale Ogunleye, and Gus Ferorette barely got touched by one of Ogunleye's fingers and he flopped and laid on his back until the ref called the penalty.

I've always admired Rodney Hariison's toughness, hopefully someone listens to him because the league really needs to bring that back.

I completely agree with Harrison! I think it was last year, but Justin Tuck got fined like ten grand for a stupid roughing the passer penalty. How can you expect someone who has played this game his entire life to not hit someone if they get the chance. You could say that it is second nature to these guys. These offensive players that complain when something like this happens then they should have just played flag football. The NFL and the refs just need to let the game be played afterall its the one sport that there really isnt a main stream leaugue for women... Hmmm I wonder why...
