Former Bears starting quarterback and first round pick Rex Grossman fumbled and threw an interception in his debut with the Texans against the Chiefs.

He did have to deal with a wet playing field for most of the game, because of the bad weather.

Rex injured his hamstring and will miss up to five weeks. He is listed behind Dan Orlovosky and Matt Schaub in Houston, I don’t know if he’ll ever get another shot in this league. I truly believe if he is in the right system, he can shine, but the Bears were not the right offense for him and I don’t know if people can look past his career there.

I wish him the best because I was big fan of his when he was with the Bears.
