Brian Urlacher’s replacement Hunter Hillenmeyer really played well filling in at the middle linebacker against the Steelers.
Here’s what he had to say about the game and next week’s game against the Seahawks:
“In the same way when we lost to Green Bay, we were quick to emphasize that it’s just one loss, we’re excited about winning yesterday, but it’s also just one win.
“It’s great, but if they make those field goals, it ends up differently. We don’t want to put too much stock in that all of sudden we’re this great team that can’t be beaten. We were fortunate to come away with a win. Hopefully it gets a little momentum going, but you don’t want to read too much into it either way.”
“He’s [Wallace] a great athlete, that’s about all I know so far, I’ve seen him play some football, and he’s a guy that can make plays.”

HH did a solid job filling in for Urlacher.

It's amazing that Hillenmeyer was almost cut this offseason, I'm so glad they kept him and moved him to the middle, he has always been solid even at the strong side lb spot. Personally Hillenmeyer is almost as good Urlacher right now. Just saying.
