Tillman: “Red Bull Was Our Secret”

91063055Bears veteran corner back Charles Tillman spoke up about yesterdays game, here’s what he had to say:

“It wasn’t really how they came out, we came out real flat on those guys, and that’s unacceptable. … That’s not our style of play. We don’t play ball like that.”

Tillman pointed to the Bears’ “secret weapon” in the locker room during the halftime speech given by Head Coach Lovie Smith, here’s what he said:

“We all came in and drank Red Bull and we were jumping off the walls like a bunch of crazy men, and it worked, so for Atlanta (on Oct. 18), I’m buying Red Bull for everybody so we can play like that the first quarter.”
